Prime Minister’s Department, attached to the General Secretariat for Defense and National Security, the National Agency for the Security of Information Systems (ANSSI) is the national authority in charge of the defense and security of information systems. ANSSI brings its expertise and technical assistance to administrations and companies with a reinforced mission for the benefit of operators of vital importance. It provides a service for monitoring, detecting, alerting and responding to computer attacks.

As part of the “France Relance” Plan and the Future Investments Program, the French Government has launched a “Cybersecurity” acceleration strategy. This strategy was built in full collaboration between the competent authorities on cyber subjects and the players in the ecosystem (manufacturers, research organizations, communities, etc.). A total of € 1,039m is planned to finance this strategy, including more than € 700m of public money.
